As the Reentry Advocate for the Prison Education Project (PEP), I collaborate with students to help them achieve their goals after incarceration. This involves securing housing, supporting career growth, ensuring healthcare access and facilitating ongoing education through WashU Continuing & Professional Studies (CAPS). I also develop and conduct workshops, which equip individuals with essential life skills and work to build connections with community organizations. Former students have been instrumental in shaping our reentry priorities. It’s been a joy to walk alongside these individuals as they succeed and inspire others.
