The Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences provides students with a strong foundation in the scientific principles that support the discovery, development, evaluation and responsible use of medications. Drawing on chemistry, biology, pharmacology and engineering, the program helps students understand how therapeutic agents interact with biological systems and how scientific evidence informs the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals.

Through coursework in the natural sciences, laboratory experiences and collaborative problem-solving, students develop analytical thinking, quantitative reasoning and laboratory skills while exploring the ethical, regulatory and societal contexts that influence pharmaceutical development. Graduates are prepared for advanced study in pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, medicine and related health professions, as well as careers in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and regulatory sectors.
